Terms of use

By using penceperhour.co.uk, you agree to these terms.

General information only

The figures, calculators and guides on this site are general information to help you estimate running costs. They're not financial, legal or energy advice. Real costs depend on your appliance, how you use it, your tariff and your region. Please check important decisions against your own bills and the original sources we link to.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep figures accurate and up to date, and we show our sources and method. However, we can't guarantee that every figure is complete, current or right for your circumstances. Energy prices change every quarter, and products change too.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under English law.

Links and advertising

We link to other websites for sources and further help, and we aren't responsible for their content. Any adverts on the site are provided by third parties, and seeing an advert doesn't mean we endorse the product.

Copyright

The text, tables, calculators and design of this site are © 2026 Pence Per Hour. You're welcome to quote short extracts with a link back. Ofgem price data is reused under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Other sources' figures are credited and linked where they're used.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
